"throw it to the wall and see what sticks"

Paintings Nr. 82, 83 "Towers"

This are the two last paintings I made before setting up my upcoming show: Two different kind of towers.
The left painiting shows the ventilation tower on the NT-Area. On the right painting there is the Antonius-Church seen from the Kannenfeldpark. It was designed by the architect Karl Moser and built betwen 1925 and 1927. This is the first church in switzerland entirely built in concrete.

Painting Nr. 74, Roche Tower construction site

Once more the construction site of the Roche Tower. For me it is fascinating to watch the tower grow and to compare the paintings of the different construction level. In the lower left part the front is already finished.

Painting Nr. 66, Gondrand

The same building and the same view as on painting Nr. 57, but other time of day. I was working on this painting at noon until the brushes fell out off my frozen stiff fingers.
